Bear Grylls Did Alpha

Started in London in 1979 as a brush-up course for rusty churchgoers the Alpha Course has become a worldwide phenomenon and is now held in 163 countries. It is estimated that more than 13 million people worldwide have attended an Alpha Course. The Alpha Course comprises 15 sessions held over 10 weeks and is free and open to everyone. No question is out of bounds and participants are free to say as much or as little as they wish as they make up their own minds about the teachings of Jesus. Spirited discussions often ensue on topics ranging from Who is God? and Why am I here? to Why is there suffering? and Is God a delusion? To learn more about Alpha or to find an Alpha course near you visit www.alpha.org.

BritishBeliever God bless you Bear, I love his programs :) 03/09/2010 - 01:14:48
InternetUser1999 OK so Christianity is not true! Then how come there are historical reports of Jesus by none christian historians? How come there are modern miracles with people being healed after being prayed for in the name of Jesus? You christiainity debunkers who dominate youtube should do some research before you state that Christianity is nonsense. 03/04/2010 - 16:14:14
ncocoa I don't know... this statement itself (and the authors subsequent responses) seems pretty hateful, smug, self-centered, unloving, unforgiving, nasty, judgmental, ignorant and hurtful. But I guess if it's directed at Christians, it's ok. Or maybe you are a Christian and this confession. :) 03/03/2010 - 15:19:25
bunnyzrock95 When times get tough I know have God at my side and so Simonorton, I thank you for testing my faith! I shall show you the love that Jesus Christ showed me and I will pray that you find a home in Christ and always no that no matter what you've done, and no matter where you are, God will always love you and will always be a comforter to you. 03/02/2010 - 05:35:54
bunnyzrock95 Real Christians have to be open minded though I think my meaning of open minded and yours are very different. Christians have to be open minded in order to perceive Gods word, we have to meditate on it and study it very carefully. We have to be willing to listen. As for being rebuked well faith needs to be tested in order to grow so I welcome the rebuke that I get from others. It strengthens me and my faith and brings me closer to God, 03/02/2010 - 05:35:29
bunnyzrock95 God gives everyone a choose...if a person wants to be Gay/Muslim thats there own choice and though I feel sorry for them b/c they would choose a life away from God its their own choice and I wont reject them for it. 03/02/2010 - 05:33:43
MattJGT Simonorton, you're probably right. There are a lot of Christians who haven't emulated the Person they claim to follow. I'd like to apologize on their behalf. So, man, I really am sorry. 03/02/2010 - 02:26:58
simonorton "Should try being more open minded". And isn't that just typical of the arrogance of Christians ... people disagree with you and so it's THEM that need to be more open minded. What's the open-mindedness you advocate ? The open-mindedness that condemns Gays and Muslims to hell ? Yes, I'll have a large slice of THAT open-mindedness please, I'm sure I'll be all fab and sorted then. Sheesh. 02/28/2010 - 20:05:24
bunnyzrock95 Through work and many other ways...I apologize for not being psychic. You should try being more open minded. I doubt that every Christian you've ever met has been that way. 02/27/2010 - 18:06:25
missnikkiklass "If you attended church" - typical patronising and ignorant ! I've spent 37 years attending church .... how else would I have had the experience of Christians I have ... ?! 02/26/2010 - 07:40:53
bunnyzrock95 @tallard666 and I bet you've never done it b/c otherwise u wouldnt be saying that :-) 02/26/2010 - 02:44:30
bunnyzrock95 @simonorton Christians are people and they act like people...I'm a Christian as are most of my friends and i can promise you that none of my friends meet any of those descriptions! If you attended church then maybe you could meet some friendly Christians :-) 02/26/2010 - 02:43:41
simonorton The most hateful, smug, self centred, hypocritical, unloving, unforgiving, nasty, lying, two faced, judgemental, idiotic, self satisfied, ignorant and downright hurtful people I've ever met have been Christians. If I never meet another one it will be too soon. 02/15/2010 - 03:56:04
